Day Zero
There was only the unobjectifiable reality later mouths would call Brahman, Atman, Shiva, the Supreme, the Self, Consciousness.
Every name would arise within it.
No name would contain it.
Nothing outside the Infinite persuaded it to manifest.
Nothing lacking in the Whole demanded completion.
Mother, Shakti, Devi - call her what you will. She was not a second power dispatched from elsewhere.
She was the freedom of Consciousness to appear as stars, salt, hunger, birth cries, equations, betrayal, mantra, circuitry, grief, and the hand that steadies another hand in adversity.
